Map of Malawi

Map of Malawi – showing Lilongwe, the capital, and Mchinji, on the border with Zambia.

250 Outlets! (And other statistics from Malawi)

Zoona reached an important milestone in Malawi this month. After 10 months of operations in the country, we have reached 250 active outlets across the country. Zoona agents can be found outside various Peoples Supermarket, Spar and Farmer’s World venues – where they provide money transfer and other services to patrons and passers-by.

In addition, over 220 emerging entrepreneurs run their own (franchise and retail) Zoona outlets in towns and villages across Malawi.

The roll-out has been a huge success, with almost half a million transactions being processed since the start of 2015.
